Hi, I'm Stu Lees.

I did not study marketing at uni. I don't have any letters after my name. In fact, I started out training to be an architect.

Over the first decade of my career I dabbled in banking, audit, software development and IT.  After working at some very large companies all over the world, I somehow ended in 2002 up a small business owner.

Like a lot of you reading this, I surived my first couple of years in business through word of mouth, hard work and a bit of luck.  

But in 2005 I decided that needed to change.  I felt that my business was going nowhere (fast) and that I needed to learn how to start attracting clients, rather than waiting for them.  

This lead me on a journey of intense learning, intense trial and error and then a breakthrough.  

I started to get this steady trickle of new client leads.  The phone started ringing.  So I doubled my efforts and then all hell broke loose.  I had hit what I've since learned is called 'the inflection point'.  This magical moment where your marketing was hitting the right people, with the right message, at the right time and in the right place.

By 2007 we had quadrupaled our annual sales, were confidently spending more than $2000 per month in advertising and were getting a 6x return on every dollar that we spent.  

Personally,  I was named finalist in 5 different business awards and ultimately took home the Entrepreneur Marketer of the Year and the Westpac Excellent in Marketing Award. 

And that, was fourteen years ago.   

Today, I focus all of my efforts to help small business owners to learn from my experiences in a much FASTER and much CHEAPER way.
